Wick Fisher White performed energy services for the preparation of a series of energy studies prepared for the Citizen's Plaza in Providence, Rhode Island. Our scope included a review of the reports issued to date, a site visit to verify existing building systems and operation, and comments on recommendations previously made with the goal of determining the best course of action to be taken.

Wick Fisher White provided Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church a tool to evaluate the facility's short-term and long-term HVAC needs, and we presented a comparison of viable options to meet these needs. We provided a description of the existing HVAC systems serving the campus, and notes major deficiencies associated with each system. We also included an analysis of future needs, and a comparison of multiple options for the replacement and/or upgrades of the existing HVAC systems. Wick Fisher White's analysis included calculations of the anticipated energy usage for each option considered, as well as a cost estimate and life cycle cost analysis. Additional, we provided non-cost related pros and cons associated with the various options considered.

In an effort to reduce overall site energy usage for GlaxoSmithKline at their Upper Providence site, Wick Fisher White provided the following:

Analysis of chilled water system and condenser water system piping and equipment to establish system capabilities.
Computer-based flow simulation and analysis of the UP7 plant chilled water and condenser waster systems using Pipe-Flo.
Determination of current day method of control and sequence of operations.
Determination of current day baseline operating costs and energy usage.
Identification of opportunities for reducing plant energy usage and the variables required for measurement and control.
Development of sequence of operations for automating mechanical equipment and for optimizing the control of measured variables.
Evaluation of the sequences to determine the opportunity for energy reduction vs. costs of implementation.
Identification of potential opportunities for future energy savings.
Completion of the GSK Basis of Design (BOD) Document Form.
Development of a Measurement & Verification (M&V) Plan for quantifying anticipated savings.

Wick Fisher White conducted an energy audit for the Morey’s Amusement Piers in Wildwood, NJ. The audit consisted of a study of the existing systems and buildings on four piers to determine methods for reducing energy costs. WFW evaluated possible energy conservation measures (ECM’S), equipment efficiency upgrades, operational conditions, energy rate structure changes and possible government assistance programs.
