The work involves programming services, preparation of contract documents, construction administration services, and documentation of the Comcast fit-out of approximately 1.1 million square feet of leased space at One Pennsylvania Plaza in Philadelphia, PA. Wick Fisher White was responsible for the tenant fit-out design of the 48 ½ floors which Comcast is leasing from Liberty Property trust. The tower will stand 56 stories and be the tallest structure in Philadelphia when completed.
WFW provided MEP design services for the construction of a six story, 90,000 square foot addition to the Wachovia Center Arena sports and entertainment complex in Philadelphia, PA. The upper four floors of the addition consist of executive office space for multiple tenants of Comcast-Spectacor, the facility's owner. The ground floor is an extension of the existing arena's main concourse and houses the facility's security offices, as well as a "Chickie and Pete's" and "Steve's Prince of Steaks" concession stands. These concession stands front a new food court dining area with a full service bar and outdoor seating during warm weather events. A new kitchen is provided in the basement level to support the ever increasing catering needs of Aramark, the main food service vendor for the Wachovia Center complex.
Wick Fisher White performed engineering services to evaluate the existing HVAC system concerns at the Novacare Complex including:
Evaluation of the capacity of the heating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to determine if they are adequate.
Review the performance of the HVAC systems to determine if they were performing to the design intent.
Evaluate the adequacy of the zoning of the air distribution system, as well as the sizing and actual installation as compared to what is required.
Wick Fisher White provided mechanical, plumbing and electrical design services for the renovation and fit-out of 114,000 square feet of existing office space at 1200 Morris Drive in Chesterbrook, PA for the expansion of Shire Pharmaceuticals' North American Corporate Headquarters. The renovations included the replacement of all the building's existing HVAC systems and substantial modifications and upgrades to the existing electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. In addition to corporate office space, the building houses a large IDF server room, multiple meeting/conference rooms and a full service kitchen and cafeteria.
Wick Fisher White participated in the evaluation of the existing MPE systems in the building, provided engineering services for several test fits, participated with Landlord's engineers in developing of the Building Engineering systems with the goal in mind that the systems must meet all requirements of Towers Perrin. After the building was selected as the future home for the Corporation WFW participated in all phases of Design and Construction. Towers Perrin rents 225,000 square feet of space in the building. The HVAC systems consist of rooftop units, gas fired, two dedicated HVAC systems provided for the main computer room. Power is provided from a Utility substation and from a 2,000 kW standby generator. Power to the workstations (a total of 1200 workstations) is provided from 11 strategically located electrical rooms. The Data/Communications Network is supported from 12 IDF rooms, all power and Data cabling to workstations is installed under raised floor.
Wick Fisher White provided full MEP design services for the fit-out of approximately 130,000 square feet of corporate office space at 901 Market Street in Philadelphia, PA for Health Partners, one of the Delaware Valley’s major healthcare insurance providers. The fit-out space includes a fitness center, data center, cafeteria and conference center.
Wick Fisher White provided full MEP design services for a new 92,000 square foot Corporate Office Building for Teknion in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The new facility is a 4-story structure consisting of general office areas, a cafeteria, conference center, executive offices and showroom space designed to highlight Teknion’s main product, office furniture partition systems.
WFW designed new base building engineering systems for this 750,000 square foot, 13-story, historic building located in downtown Philadelphia. These systems include a 3,000 ton water source heat pump air conditioning system, new dual incoming electrical service and distribution and new plumbing risers. WFW has also performed fit-out services for most of the buildings current tenants, as well as upgrades to building public spaces.
148,000 sq. ft. renovations to 8 ½ floors of the One Logan Square Building to accommodate the relocation of BRCM Law Offices from Four Penn Center Plaza. BRCM will occupy the second floor and floors 4 through 10. The design included the complete demolition of all floors within in the contract area with modifications to the core toilet rooms on each floor. The existing perimeter two pipe fan coil system and the existing interior VAV system were modified to meet the new layout for BRCM. Spaces include attorney and paralegal offices, secretarial workstations, administrative offices, accounting department, caserooms/workrooms, conference rooms, training room, mailroom, computer equipment room, housekeeping rooms, storage rooms, reception areas, and barrier-free restrooms. Included in the fit-out were special areas such as a designated file server room, cafeteria, catering kitchen, fitness center, law library utilizing modern dense filing systems and satellite libraries on each of the eight office floors. The additional half floor was designed for archival storage which utilized electronically-controlled dense filing systems.
Complete tenant fit-out for 8-story, 157,700 sq. ft. building to house new headquarters for international travel business, including new computer room, "star wars" video display room, employee fitness center, cafeteria, and classroom/training rooms.
